A cleaning you can book without worry
A professional cleaning is scaling and polishing. Scaling lifts tartar. Polishing takes surface stain. Gums can feel tender for a day or two. That is ordinary, and the clinic can tell you what to skip that evening.
A cleaning does not correct fluorosis, and it does not replace a filling or a root canal. If a tooth already hurts, say so before the cleaning starts. Enamel Dental suggests a visit about every six months, sooner when gums bleed.
