Wisdom tooth pain, and when it can wait
A wisdom tooth that has not fully come through can leave the gum swollen and sore. That is the usual reason to remove it. A tooth that is quiet, and that you can clean, can stay and be watched.
Removal is a surgical visit under local anaesthesia. Swelling afterwards is common. Dr. Akhouri Sanskar will say what to eat and which tablet to use. Call if swelling is still increasing after the second day, or if swallowing becomes difficult.
